Today is International Dog Day – what better way to celebrate than sweet pups and lots of L-O-V-E! Don't let your sweet doggo miss out on becoming part of the family too.

Catch these must-have tips on making sure your tail-wagger is happy while including them in your engagement session!

Pack the Essentials

Don't let your pooch get caught without the essentials – water, food, treats, and his or her favorite toy! If you're doing a lot of walking during your session, fido might get a little thirsty.

Treats and a toy come in handy when trying to get your dog's attention. You'll thank us later when your photographer gets a cute candid of your little family!

Choose a Fitting Location

If you plan to bring your pup along for the engagement photo ride, opt for a dog-friendly environment. Parks, a neighborhood walk, or even some restaurant patios will gladly welcome your furry friend.

Be Yourself

This is a no-judgment zone – go ahead, use your dog voice (we know you have one!) Let your engagement session be fun, exciting, and authentic to who you are as a couple.

Run around, play tag, throw a frisbee, and even give some puppy kisses!
