  • 2 min read

Picking out flowers for your wedding can be one of the most fun things to do - who doesn't love gorgeous florals?! However, it can also be overwhelming, especially if you're not sure of what style you want to go with or if your budget is tight (wedding flowers can get expensive real quick)!

You'll need your wedding bouquet, flowers for your wedding party, potentially for your ceremony (although we suggest skimping here if you need to save), and your reception.

Today, we want to focus on your bridal bouquet. This is arguably the most important florals you'll spend money on and you want to make sure you absolutely love it. After all, it will be in almost all your pictures from the day!

That's why we want to share one simple, not often talked about, trick that will guarantee you will be obsessed with your bridal bouquet!

Typically, you wouldn't see your bridal bouquet until the morning of the wedding. But what if what you had envisioned isn't what you find waiting for you that day?! There's no going back at that point and you don't want to be dragging around a bouquet that your not obsessed with for the biggest day of your life.

So how do we guarantee you'll love your bridal bouquet?

Once you think you've found your florist and discussed an overall vision for your wedding day flowers, ask her or him to make a mock up of your bridal bouquet for your engagement photos! By doing this, you can see if you love the bouquet that you had initially envisioned for your wedding, and if you don't. you can easily make adjustments before the big day.

You will have to pay for the bouquet but if flowers are important to you, it will be a small fee to pay to ease your mind and ensure you love your bouquet.

And added bonus: Having a bouquet for your engagement photos makes for a gorgeous prop! It will add that extra beautiful element and give you something to do with your hands for those photos that you're not cuddled close to your fiancé! That's what we consider a win-win!
